1. Where does the festival take place?
Czech Mussel Week is held in selected restaurants across the Czech Republic.

2. When is the festival?
The festival takes place from September 12th to 20th, 2025.

3. Where can I find a list of participating restaurants?
You can find the list on our official website, where it’s regularly updated. Follow us on social media @Hopifishhub for the latest news and highlights.

4. Can I filter the list of restaurants?
Yes, you can filter by location, type of venue, and menu offerings.

5. What vouchers are available and how do they work?
1+1 free portion: 2 guests = 1 voucher. You’ll receive two portions of mussels, pay for the more expensive one, and get the second free.
When downloading a voucher, you’ll pay a CZK 100 deposit + a CZK 20 admin fee (non-refundable). The deposit will be deducted from your bill in the restaurant.

In non-Prague restaurants, vouchers can be downloaded without a deposit.

6. What’s the difference between the two types of vouchers?
Voucher with deposit:
– Guarantees your table reservation
– Can be downloaded anytime and cancelled/changed until 5 PM the day before
– After that, contact the restaurant directly

Voucher without deposit:
– Available only for restaurants outside Prague

7. How do I book a table and download a voucher?
a) Choose your restaurant on the website
b) Click „Download voucher“ and fill out the form:

• Number of guests
• Number of mussel portions
• Date and time
• Contact details (name, email, phone)

c) During your first download, you’ll register an account – this allows you to modify bookings later
d) After payment, you’ll receive the voucher via email, and it will also be available in your account on the website

8. How can I change or cancel my reservation?
Changes or cancellations are possible until 5 PM the day before.
Vouchers cannot be transferred to a different restaurant – but you can cancel and make a new booking.
Log in to your account to make changes online.

9. What if I didn’t receive my voucher?
Check your Spam folder first. If it’s not there, contact us at czechmusselweek.cz/kontakty – it’s usually a typo in the email address.

10. Do I need to print the voucher?
No, a digital version on your phone is sufficient.

11. Can I buy multiple vouchers at once?
No, vouchers are issued one at a time. However, you can download vouchers to more than one restaurant.

12. Is punctuality important?
Yes. Your reservation is guaranteed only for 15 minutes. If you’re running late, call the restaurant directly – they may not check emails during service.

13. Do I need to show the voucher in the restaurant?
Yes – staff will scan the QR code to apply the discount and redeem the deposit.

14. What if I want both portions for myself?
No problem! Just mention it in the booking form or in the notes.

15. Why do I need to enter both number of guests and portions?
So the restaurant can prepare both your table and the correct number of mussel portions.

16. What type of mussels will be served?
Czech Mussel Week features fresh, cleaned, and meaty Premier mussels of the highest quality – chilled and perfectly handled for immediate use.

17. What mussel recipes can I expect?
Restaurants will offer a wide range of preparations – from classics like mussels in white wine or with garlic to modern fusions and global flavor inspirations. Full menus will be available on the festival website.

18. Can I bring someone who doesn’t eat seafood?
Absolutely! Most restaurants also offer a standard menu with non-seafood options.

19. Can I win something by participating?
Yes! Follow @HopiFishHub on social media – we’ll be running contests and giveaways with great prizes.

20. What if I didn’t like the food?
The best way to resolve any issues is to speak directly with the restaurant staff.
